Russia is the undisputed coldest country in the world. Thermometers hit a frigid -90 degrees Fahrenheit in northeast Siberia Feb. 6, 1933. Finland claims the title for coldest country in Europe with a temperature of -60.7 degree Fahrenheit recorded Jan. 28, 1999. (Russia's coldest temperatures are not found in the part of the country attached to the European continent.) The coldest temperature ever recorded happened at Vostok Station in Antarctica July 21, 1983 when thermometers bottomed out at -128.6 degrees Fahrenheit. Source: Reference.com
